THE HOMESTEAD

An idyllic Cornish cottage transformed into a maximalist haven!

The Homestead is a gorgeous three bed cottage sat next to the River Gannel. This is a special place and the interiors needed to be as wow as the location. Extensive building work was required to get it up to high-spec rental standards.

I produced an eye catching selection of room designs, each one being a conversation starter. And it was certainly that…the dark green kitchen walls and cupboards got the tradesmen’s eyes rolling from early on!

Purposefully sourcing a mix of old and new items to not only reduce the overall spend but to create a granny chic, eclectic vibe. Bold curtains and lots of colour were all the client asked for.

The Homestead is now a successful holiday rental with Classic Cottages.
